New-home backyards in Caloundra's southern estates are often small and shaded by fences and the house next door. Sir Walter ($15.50/m²) is the best of our three in shade. Where a front yard gets full sun all day, Wintergreen couch ($7.00/m²) keeps the cost down.
Near the water, Empire Zoysia ($15.50/m²) handles salt air, heat and dry spells, and needs less mowing than the other two. Sir Walter is the alternative where the yard is shaded.

For a new build, let us know if the site is still fenced off or the driveway is not yet poured, so the delivery can be planned around it.
